By registering for the World Conference of Science Journalists (the “Conference”), you agree to and hereby do release the World Federation of Science Journalists, the Arab Science Journalists Association, and the National Association of Science Writers, their present and former officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and attorneys (collectively, the “Organizations”), and any and all other entities owned, operated, controlled and/or managed by, or under common control or management with the Organizations, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and attorneys (collectively, the “Organizations’ Affiliates”) from any of the following arising out of or relating in any way to your attendance at the Conference: all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, sums of money, accounts, bonds, reckonings, bills, covenants, controversies, agreements, promises variances, trespasses, damages, judgments, extends, executions, claims and demands whatsoever in law, admiralty, or equity (collectively, “Claims”), which you have or hereafter can, shall, or may, have, against the Organization and the Organizations’ Affiliates including, but not limited to, Claims for ordinary negligence and Claims arising out of acts of war. This release also includes Claims which exist on the date you register for the Conference, Claims which may accrue or arise in the future, and Claims which are unknown as of the day of your registration. This release binds you, your heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.
The Conference recommends individuals acquire appropriate travel insurance.
